Not only do the pockets make these a wear anywhere item, they also run in sizes from x-small to 6x sure to accommodate all sizes and shapes we come in. They do run slightly tighter than my usual leggings so if in doubt I would order a size up. They do have a crotch triangle gusset so very comfy for workouts too. ( The Crossover refers to the waist design, flattering and supportive too).
